LOGO HAS LAUNCHED

A logo provides a visual symbol that represents the mission and voice of an organization. We are excited to launch our new logo, designed in collaboration with Impact Media Lab and Mary Lenz, to increase our social visibility and expand our opportunities to affect change for freshwater ecosystems and biodiversity.

Our logo was designed to reflect the collaborative nature of the Alliance and our commitment to the conservation of entire freshwater ecosystems, not just individual species. We took great care to reflect a range of freshwater biodiversity, from the underappreciated to the charismatic.

Our process involved surveys of the membership to identify the core values of the Alliance and ensure those core values are presented visually. We worked through a wide variety of drafts, styles, and intentions. We hope you like the final product.
