The Alliance for Freshwater Life’s co-authored paper, “The Alliance for Freshwater Life : A global call to unite efforts for freshwater biodiversity science and conservation”, has been recommended by F1000 Prime, which collates and recommends scholarly work.

From to the nominators:

“This paper provides an up-to-date summary of facts about freshwater biodiversity loss, its causes and consequences, and describes a global initiative (the Alliance for Freshwater Life) connecting different experts – researchers, conservationists and policy makers, among others – with the ultimate aim of reversing the global decline of freshwater biodiversity. An important and timely paper that should reach a wide audience, beyond the scientific sphere.”
